"Amanda Jordan is a 2018 Oconomowoc High School Graduate and a current Master of Art Candidate at Minnesota State University- Mankato. Amanda primarily creates in acrylic paint, while also making mixed media work and installation. Through the manipulation of color, texture, and scale, Amanda takes everyday food delicacies and twists them into deeper concepts such as: temptation, indulgence, over-consumption, and the calculation behind advertisement and media. While working in vibrant colors, Amanda seeks to create a thrilling and exhilarating response, similar to the response corporations crave from consumers."
